About the Event

ElevateBD Backyard Ultra 2027 is a Backyard Ultra running event in Dhaka, Bangladesh, held from 14 to 16 January 2027. A new 6.706 km loop (4.167 miles) starts every hour, and every runner has 60 minutes to complete it. Finish the loop, rest and refuel in the remaining time, then be on the start line for the next hour.

The format is simple and brutal: miss a loop, or miss the start, and you are out. The last runner who completes a loop alone is the champion.

For the first time in Bangladesh, we are introducing this unique endurance event, divided into two segments featuring four exciting categories.

1. Flagship Segment

The ultimate test of endurance, featuring one exclusive category: Backyard Ultra – The Last One Standing.

2. Festival Segment

Designed to welcome runners of different endurance levels, this segment features three categories:

  • Century Yard
  • Half Yard
  • Quarter Yard

Together, these two segments offer a unique endurance experience, challenging athletes to push their limits and inspiring more people to be part of Bangladesh’s running history.
